Instagram sensation, Deliciously Stella is swapping clean eating for the catwalk. ‘Stella gets her wings’ is a brand new mockumentary series, spoofing the infamous Victoria’s Secret fashion show. Featuring star turns from comedy favourites, Blake Harrison (The Inbetweeners), Margaret Clunie (A Young Doctor’s notebook, Victoria) and Beattie Edmondson (Josh), the series follows Stella on her quest to get her wings as she learns how to eat, train, and walk like an angel.

Think Victoria’s Secret has a problem with body diversity? Think again. This season VS have got a new influencer walking their runway... Having conquered the world of wellness, the internet’s favourite everywoman is becoming a model, and not just any model, Stella is auditioning for the most famous fashion show in the world – the Victoria’s Secret show. Stella gets her wings parodies the most iconic elements of the show, including the audition tapes, the ‘train like an angel’ instruction guides and the notorious celebrity sing off.

Ensuring her fans don’t miss a moment of her journey, Stella has invited a documentary crew to access all areas following her from casting to catwalk. Stella is desperate to prove that she’s been booked for something other than her social media following but it’s an uphill struggle when what she really needs is a 24-inch waist and 18% body fat.

The brainchild of Writer/Actor, Bella Younger, Writer/Director, Emilia Reid and Producer, Hannah Bilverstone, ‘Stella Gets Her Wings’ is a show for every woman who’s tired of being told how they should look. With the rise of the body positivity movement, it would have been the perfect year to finally put diversely sized women on the catwalk and end this sequin-clad homage to “thinspiration”. They didn’t, but luckily, we did.
